What is MakeThatMove?

MakeThatMove is a dance video platform that allow dancers, choreographers or simply dance video owners to upload and share their video clips for free. This platform is available for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Android Smartphone and Tablet.

Does MakeThatMove owns the videos?

MakeThatMove do not own the videos and video contributors/owner can at any point request their video(s), uploaded directly on MakeThatMove platform, to be removed. MakeThatMove simply operates as a multi-side platform that primarily enable and facilitate direct interaction between those interested in watching dance videos and those interested in uploading dance videos. We’re here for you!

What if a video or a comment violates my privacy?

Every day, huge numbers of people come to MakeThatMove to share videos and engage with one another. We want you to feel safe when you’re on MakeThatMove, which is why we encourage you to let us know if videos or comments on the site violate your privacy or sense of safety. If a video contains your personal information without consent, including your image, name or national identification number contact us through email or phone and will deal with it quickly and take it very seriously.

What about profanities?

MakeThatMove will not accept and will immediately reject videos that content nudity, pornographic images and any profanities. This includes the video images, dance moves and music.

What does MakeThatMove do with my video?

When you upload your video(s) to www.makethatmove.tv it will be available within 24hours on our Apple and Android app, including our YouTube channel. However, MakeThatMove might operate some editing to allow your video to fit our Criteria for video submission. If your video does not meet our standard, it will not be added to the MakeThatMove platform and will immediately be deleted from our system. You will also be notified about the decision within 24hours.

Is it only professionals that upload?

You don’t need to be professional but you do need to upload a great dance video. Professional are often seen as those performing on big stages and who are well known. The reality is that there are many great dancers out there! … and MakeThatMove is also here to allow the hidden talent to be discovered.

Are there any age restrictions?

MakeThatMove is rated 12+. This is because despite our policy on profanities, some videos might contain explicit music

Can I use licensed music in my video?

You can use licensed music in your video(s) however you should make sure that you have all the clearances required. Additionally, you MUST only upload your video(s) on MakeThatMove if it does not infringe the copyright, or similar right, of any third party rights.
